Yvonne ChristineWHELANPassed away at Queen's Hospital Burton, on Sunday 11th May 2025, aged 78 years.

Loving sister to the late Royston and sister-in-law to Evelyn. Much loved aunty to Declan, Rebecca and Claire. Special granty to Niall, Conor and Ciaran. Yvonne will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service for Yvonne will be held at St Joseph The Worker RC Church Winshill, on Friday 30th May, at 1:30pm, followed by a committal at Bretby Crematorium, in the Willow Room.

Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Yvonne may be placed in the collection box at the service for Burton Rugby Football Club.

A great teacher to my two daughters many years ago at castle park school, I regularly saw her at Asda shopping and always had a little chat a nicer person you couldn't wish for although not seen for a long time my thoughts are with the family at this sad time
